2. External Structure of the Instrument

3. Instrument Usage Instructions

3.1 Instrument Setup and Leveling

(1) Select an appropriate height and properly set up the tripod, then securely attach the level to the tripod using the central screw. ( See the figure. 2)

(2) Use the tripod to roughly level the instrument and securely anchor it to the ground, then rotate the foot screw handwheel. A B C Center the bubble ( See the figure. 3)

① Rotate simultaneously A B The handwheel bubble moves to the right. ② Rotate C Turn the handwheel; the bubble moves downward.

3.2 Aiming and Adjustment

(1) View adjustment : Point the telescope toward a bright background or align the reticle using the coarse sight, then rotate the eyepiece focusing wheel until the crosshairs on the reticle are sharply focused.

(2) Telescope focusing : Use the focusing handwheel ( Turning forward adjusts the focus to infinity; turning backward adjusts the focus to close distances. ) Continue until the scale is clearly imaged; then rotate the horizontal fine-adjustment handwheel to bring the scale image into the center of the field of view of the object under test.

3.3 Ruler reading

Elevation reading : After the instrument is aimed at the leveling staff, the middle-thread reading equals the elevation. As shown in the figure. 4 As shown is 1.195m

Distance measurement : Read the upper and lower staff readings on the stadia rod, respectively; this gives the instrument-to-rod distance. =( Winding reading - Lower thread reading value ) times 100 . As shown in the figure 4 As shown is (1.352m-1.038m) times 100 = 31.4 m

③ Azimuth Measurement : Use the vertical thread of the reticle to aim at the target. A , the dial indicates the angle value α; rotate the telescope to aim at the target. B , the dial indicates the angle value β; then ∠ AOB=( alpha - beta )

3.4 Use of Laser Level

① Charging : This instrument is equipped with 2000mA Lithium battery, equipped with Type-C Charging port: plug in the charging cable to connect to power. ( Can also be connected to a power bank. ) The instrument will then automatically begin charging, with the power indicator flashing. Once the power indicator remains steadily lit, charging is complete.

② Measurement Preparation : After adjusting the blister, 3 Within meters ( Indoor is also fine. ) When the laser spot appears as a minimum through the eyepiece after focusing, and coincides with the crosshairs on the reticle, it indicates that the instrument is in good condition and can be used with confidence.

③ Leveling : In the aforementioned state, the laser beam is collimated and focused coaxially with the telescope’s optical axis, allowing the laser spot to be precisely aimed at the target. The operator using the scale can then take and record the reading.

④ Directional measurement : Laser orientation surveying involves identifying additional points along the line connecting two known reference points. With the instrument precisely centered and leveled, accurately aim at the target and switch on the laser power. To locate other points on the line between the two reference points, simply set up a target at the desired location and adjust the laser focus. Thanks to the laser’s red visibility, the orientation survey can be completed quickly.

⑤ Button Functions :a Switch : Press once for low light, press again for high light, and press a third time to turn it off; b During shutdown, the number of consecutive buzzer beeps indicates the battery level: four beeps mean the battery is fully charged, and one beep indicates a low battery. A warning tone will sound when the device is powered on. (20 Rings once every second ) Then it needs to be charged; c Press the power button, and in 10 The device will automatically shut down after a few minutes; press and hold the button until you hear a “beep” to disable the auto-shutdown feature.

* After the laser beam is reflected through multiple lens elements, localized faint spots may appear around the laser spot; this is a normal phenomenon and does not affect normal operation.

** Do not look directly at the laser beam from the front of the instrument to avoid eye injury.

4. Instrument calibration

The instrument has been rigorously calibrated in accordance with standards prior to shipment; however, prior to use, the circular bubble level and zero position must still be checked and adjusted.

4.1 Level vial inspection and adjustment

  1. After centering the circular level bubble, rotate the telescope. 180 Degree, the blister should be in the center. ( As shown in the figure. 6 As shown ) This constitutes qualification.
  2. If the blister is not centered ( As shown in the figure. 7) then adjustments are required.

Rotate the foot screw handwheel to move the bubble toward the center of the graduation circle by the amount of eccentricity. 1/2( As shown in the figure. 7)

  1. Another One half Use an Allen wrench. ( (Random accessory) Adjust the two bubble adjustment screws to center the bubble within the graduation circle. (As shown in the figure.) 8 )

(5) Repeat the above steps until the circular bubble no longer shifts as the telescope mount rotates. ( Figure 6)

4.2 Zero-point calibration

(1) At a distance of 50m Erect two rulers at the two points. A B , place the instrument in the middle position. ( Figure 9) . Level the instrument, and... A B The scale readings are as follows: a 1 and b 1 then A B Elevation difference of two points △ h=a 1-b1

(2) Move the instrument to a distance of A Ruler 1-2m place, ( As shown in the figure. 10) . Level the instrument, and... A B The scale reading is a 2 b 2, , if

| (a 2-b2 )- (a 1-b1)| less than or equal to 3mm This indicates that the line of sight is level, so no correction is necessary; otherwise, correction should be performed as described below.

(3) As shown in the figure. 10 As shown, aim B Ruler, remove the dust cover, and use a correction needle. ( Random Attachment ) Adjust the calibration screw of the reticle. ( Figure 11) To enable reading B Ruler reading b 3 =a 2- h . Repeat the above steps until |(a 1-b1 )- (a 2-b2)| less than or equal to 3mm Until then. Alternatively, make adjustments in accordance with the measurement specifications.

4.3 Laser Calibration
