Precautions:

  1. A compass is an instrument that uses magnetic fields to determine direction. However, it cannot reliably and in real time distinguish between external interfering magnetic fields and the Earth’s magnetic field. Therefore, providing a low-interference magnetic environment during operation is crucial for maintaining the compass’s accuracy; in complex ambient magnetic fields, the accuracy of the compass’s measurement data can be compromised.
  2. Strong ambient light degrades the ranging accuracy of the instrument.
  3. Do not aim the laser emitted by this product at the human eye to avoid eye injury.

Data meaning:

Azimuth It is the horizontal angle measured clockwise from the north direction line at a given point to the target direction line.

Roll angle : The instrument is placed horizontally in the forward position; when the instrument is tilted from side to side, the angle formed between the lower surface of the instrument and the horizontal plane.

Pitch angle : The instrument is placed horizontally in the forward direction; when the instrument is tilted back and forth, the angle formed between its lower surface and the horizontal plane.

Magnetic declination : The angle of deviation between geographic azimuth and magnetic azimuth; the magnetic declination varies depending on the geographic location.

Temperature and humidity : Ambient temperature and humidity of the instrument

flow   quantity : Given the dimensions of the flume, flow rate is calculated using the float method.

face   Accumulation : Measure the area of a rectangle using the method of distance measurement.

body   Accumulation : Measure the volume of a cube using the method of distance measurement.

  • Application Fields

This product is an intrinsically safe instrument for measuring parameters such as azimuth, distance, and inclination. It is primarily used for underground geological exploration but can also be applied in forestry, water conservancy, power, and other fields.

II. Product Features

Electronic compass: Utilizes high-precision attitude sensors and advanced software algorithms for more accurate attitude measurement.

Inclination Compensation: When measuring azimuth, the compass does not need to be placed horizontally to obtain accurate readings.

Data Hold: After aiming at the target, press the Hold button to lock the current reading for easy reading.

Laser Projection: The instrument can project either dot or line lasers, making aiming more convenient.

Laser measurement: phase-based laser ranging, measurement range 80 Meter-level accuracy, with millimeter precision, and capable of measuring height, area, and volume.

Data Storage: Stores 400 data sets, indexed by time, and can be viewed locally.

Data Communication: Pass Upload measurement data via USB or Bluetooth, or operate the instrument via Bluetooth.

III. Operating Principle and Parameters

3.1 Operating Principle

This product is a portable, intrinsically safe electronic geological distance-measuring compass. At its core is a high-speed processor, supported by a sensor suite comprising a 3-axis magnetoresistive sensor, a 3-axis accelerometer, and a 3-axis gyroscope for attitude measurement. This sensor suite provides the instrument with three-dimensional attitude data, which is then processed to determine azimuth and dip angle. In addition, the instrument is equipped with point-and-line laser sighting, laser ranging, temperature and humidity measurement, and float-based flow measurement capabilities.
