Product Overview

The YHCD-1500J intrinsically safe laser rangefinder and positioning pointer for mining applications is an integrated instrument that combines electronics, optics, and precision mechanics. It offers functions such as long-range laser pointing, distance measurement, angle measurement, and height measurement. The instrument features a split design with a separate host unit suspended at a high position and a controller mounted at a lower, more convenient operating height, connected by an explosion-proof cable. The controller manages the power supply for the laser pointer and displays the projection angle and range of the laser line. The instrument boasts an aesthetically pleasing appearance, compact size, light weight, and explosion-proof characteristics. Equipped with a suspension assembly, it can be quickly secured to anchor bolts and adjusted over a 360° range—allowing for coarse adjustment and precise fine-tuning—with easy operation and reliable braking. The point laser projected by the instrument features a small spot size, high brightness, and minimal spot drift. It provides high-precision distance and angle measurements and enables real-time monitoring of the laser pointer’s status. To accommodate underground power supply conditions in coal mines, this product can be powered either by a dedicated battery DC supply or by a dedicated AC-to-DC power adapter.
