1 .Product Features

YBJ The explosion-proof laser pointer for mining is an instrument that integrates electronics, optics, precision mechanics, and other technologies. It features an aesthetically pleasing appearance, compact size, light weight, and explosion-proof characteristics. The instrument is installed in a fixed configuration and can be quickly secured to anchor bolts. The instrument can 360° The range can be coarsely adjusted arbitrarily and finely tuned with high accuracy; adjustment is convenient and braking is reliable. The product features a self-developed optical system and supports both red and green light sources, with spot size and effective range tailored to meet the requirements of underground mining operations. The instrument is equipped with an AC/DC switching power supply module that accepts a wide AC input voltage. AC80V~AC245V Power supply with protection function.

3 .Main Uses and Scope of Application

    The instrument is primarily used in underground coal mine roadways to provide precise positioning of the center and waist lines, as well as directional alignment for the installation of transport pipelines, conveyor belts, ventilation ducts, water pipes, and cable routes. It can also provide straight-line guidance for tunneling operations in subways, highways, railways, bridges, tunnels, culverts, oil pipelines, and drainage projects.

II. Structural Features and Operating Principle

1 .Structural features:

    The instrument integrates the power supply module, optics, and precision mechanics into a single unit, featuring an aesthetically pleasing appearance, compact size, and lightweight construction.

Instrument coarse adjustment uses 360° Rotatable locking mechanism; installation employs a fixed locking device, enabling convenient and rapid instrument fixation. The instrument, via a fine-adjustment mechanism, can be adjusted to no less than ±1.5° Make fine horizontal and vertical adjustments within the range.

 

2 .Working principle:

Connect the instrument to the supply voltage. AC127V Subsequently, the power supply module converts the input power into a DC voltage to supply the laser tube, generating a laser beam. This beam is then directed over long distances via an optical system, with respective ranges reaching 500 Rice.

IV. Installation, Adjustment, and Use

1 .Installation

1 ) The instrument is equipped with test cables.

2 ) Before installing and using the instrument, please adjust the leveling screws. 2 , horizontal locking screw 2 Remove it (note the internal spring—exercise caution), then disconnect the mining-grade waterproof test cable. Thread a mining-grade waterproof cable of appropriate length through the compression screw, connect the rear cover to the instrument’s wiring terminals (ensuring correct terminal connections), and reassemble the leveling adjustment screw in its original sequence. 2 , horizontal locking screw 2

3 ) Installation of Instruments and Anchor Bolts

As shown in the figure. The mounting holes for the instrument mounting plate are 12mm, Pre-positioned at the center of the tunnel roof, with a distance of 158mm and 56mm At both ends, drive in four rods with a diameter less than 12mm Install self-made threaded anchor bolts (length does not affect on-site construction). On each anchor bolt, fit a nut and a washer up to the upper portion of the thread, then align the instrument’s mounting plate with the anchor bolt and insert it. Finally, tighten the upper and lower nuts and washers on the anchor bolt to securely clamp and fix the mounting plate.

2 .Adjustment and use

Connect the mining-grade waterproof cable in accordance with the voltage requirements specified on the nameplate. Then, energize the system to illuminate the laser. Aim the laser beam at the approximate target location. Next, make precise adjustments based on the accurate azimuth and elevation angles determined by the theodolite: adjust the elevation adjustment screw to set the vertical angle, and loosen the horizontal locking screw. 12 ; Adjust the instrument's leveling screw 12 This allows you to adjust the instrument’s horizontal angle; once the light spot is accurately aligned with the target point, tighten the horizontal locking screw. 12

    Please note: The instrument is factory-calibrated to ensure the spot size is within the specified range, so no on-site adjustment is required. If adjustment is necessary, please follow the procedures outlined in the troubleshooting section.

VII. Maintenance, Servicing, and Precautions

1 . When the instrument is not used for an extended period, it should be stored in a dry, non-corrosive environment.

2 .The optical system is calibrated before the instrument leaves the factory; do not disassemble it arbitrarily. During transportation, handle with care to avoid severe vibration.

3 .The instrument shall be operated at the specified input power voltage. Grounding screws are provided on both the inner and outer surfaces of the enclosure; reliable grounding must be ensured during installation.

4 .Live maintenance is prohibited; when it is necessary to open the enclosure for maintenance, such work must be performed in a safe location.

5 .The window glass of the laser output port should be regularly wiped with lens paper or a soft cloth to ensure the surface is clean and free of dust.

6 . During maintenance and repair, the instrument must never be opened while energized! Damage to the flameproof joint surfaces is strictly prohibited! Use yield stress. greater than or equal to 640 MPa (8.8 Level ) fasteners; The model, specifications, and parameters of components must not be altered at will; care must be taken to prevent explosion hazards (note: do not Do not damage the flameproof surfaces or the fastening of the junction box cover; ensure that the sealing rings in the cable entry devices are not lost, and tighten the compression screws appropriately. During installation of the flameproof surfaces, apply anti-rust oil; verify that the adjustment mechanisms operate smoothly and that locking is secure; inspect the sealing-ring fasteners, and replace any damaged components promptly.

7. Applicable cable diameter: ø 8.0mm-  ø 10.0mm

8 When performing on-site grounding, the lead wires connected to the external terminal blocks shall be securely fastened, with an electrical clearance of not less than 4 mm, Creepage distance shall be no less than 5mm. Secure and properly route the connection cables; do not bend them to prevent strain or damage.

9. Avoid installation, storage, and use near heat or cold sources!

10 Regularly inspect the grounding connection to ensure it is reliable and that all screws are securely tightened and free from loosening. If the cable sealing grommet shows signs of aging, it should be replaced promptly.

11 Keep the equipment clean to prevent the accumulation of coal dust and other debris on the equipment surface and at the cable exit points; the surface temperature of the enclosure shall not exceed 150 degrees Celsius

VIII. Fault Analysis and Troubleshooting

The instrument is not working. Please inspect your instrument according to the table below. If the instrument still does not function properly after inspection, please contact a service center or the manufacturer.

IX. Maintenance Services

1 . In principle, the maintenance of explosion-proof electrical products shall be carried out by the product manufacturer. If maintenance is performed independently, the maintenance entity must possess the necessary inspection and testing facilities, and may only proceed after obtaining the consent of the product manufacturer. Following maintenance, an explosion-proof performance test shall be conducted and the product must meet GB /T3836 Only after meeting the requirements specified herein may it be put into service. The party performing the repair shall bear all related liabilities arising from such repair.

2 Within one year from the date of issuance of the purchase invoice, if quality issues arise under normal instrument operation, we will provide repair and calibration services. However, if the instrument fails to function properly due to unauthorized disassembly, improper use, failure to follow the user manual, or damage incurred during transportation or other unforeseen incidents, a reasonable repair fee will be charged.
