Product Uses and Features
This product is a fully electronic measuring instrument that uses a microelectronic angle sensor as its core component to measure changes in angle. It is designed for measuring horizontal and inclination angles during tunneling in mining operations, and its digital display significantly outperforms dial-type inclinometers in terms of accuracy and stability.

External dimensions (mm): 132 × 69 × 17.5
Standby time: approximately 350 days
Power supply: two 3V CR2032 batteries.
Weight: approximately 75 grams
Auto Shut-off: When the device is powered on, it will automatically shut off if there is no angle change greater than 0.1° and no key presses within 120 seconds.
Operating instructions:
I. Power Switch: (On/Off) The key is the power on/off button. While the device is off, press and hold this button for 3 seconds; the buzzer will sound once, and the system will enter the default angle measurement mode. While the device is on, press and hold this button for 3 seconds to shut down the system. If the LCD backlight is on when the device is powered on, it will turn off simultaneously when the device is shut down.
II. Enable Prompt Tone:
This key toggles the beep sound on or off. When the device is powered on, a brief press of this key emits one beep, and a sound icon appears at the top of the LCD display to indicate that the beep is enabled. If the beep is already enabled, another brief press will emit a single beep and the sound icon will disappear from the top of the LCD display, indicating that the beep has been disabled. Once the beep is enabled, it will sound intermittently when the display angle is set to 0°, 45°, or 90°.
III. Level Calibration (Calibrate to 0 Degrees): (Calibration) The key is the calibration mode button; for details on the calibration procedure, refer to the horizontal calibration method.
Measurement mode switching: (conversion) The key is the mode-switching button. When the device is powered on, a short press of this button will:
A: Standard tilt display mode (default on power-up).
B: % display mode—when measuring in percentage mode, the “%” symbol appears above the numerical display.
C: Relative Angle Display Mode. In this mode, you can set the zero point at any angle to begin measurement. During relative angle measurement, the angle display flashes to clearly distinguish it from the standard tilt angle display.
IV. Display Lock: (Lock/Backlight) The key is the lock key.
1. While the device is powered on, a short press of this button will lock the currently displayed LCD data, and the LCD will show the lock symbol “H”; pressing the button again will unlock it, and the “H” symbol will disappear.
2. While the device is powered on, press and hold. (Lock/ Backlight) Press and hold the button for 3 seconds to turn on the LCD backlight; press and hold it again for 3 seconds to turn the backlight off. While the backlight is on, any key press will keep the backlight illuminated. If no keys are pressed for 20 seconds, the backlight will automatically turn off and resume operation when a key is pressed again.

Leveling calibration method:
After a period of use, the instrument may become inaccurate due to impacts or collisions; the following method can be used to recalibrate it.
1. Power on the slope meter and place it on the leveling wire (the horizontal error of the wire should not exceed 3 degrees; an No. 8 iron wire is recommended for the wire).
2. Position the slope meter with its front face facing the operator, suspend it steadily from the horizontal plumb line, and mark its position.
3. Long press (Calibration) Press and hold the key for 3 seconds to enter angle calibration mode; the LCD will display “CAL1,” and the buzzer will sound once.
4. After approximately 10 seconds, “CAL2” will begin to flash, and the buzzer will sound once. At the same time, rotate the inclinometer 180 degrees about the horizontal axis, placing the back side of the instrument facing the operator on the same marked horizontal line. Briefly press the (Calibration) key; the buzzer will sound once, the flashing will stop, and “CAL2” will be displayed.
5. After approximately another 10 seconds, the LCD will display “Succ,” and the buzzer will sound three consecutive beeps to indicate successful calibration; the instrument will then return to the measurement mode after 2 seconds.
2. If “Succ” is not displayed and the system immediately returns to the pre-check state, it indicates that the calibration has failed and the above steps must be repeated.
Note: 1. When performing calibration, the user is essentially setting the reference 0° point for the entire instrument; this does not alter the parameters of the instrument’s output data.
2. In Slope meter Do not move, shake, or jostle the device during calibration. Slope meter , and select no greater than
3.00 Ensure the instrument is level (on a horizontal plane); otherwise, calibration data may be affected or calibration may fail. After calibration, please re-perform the accuracy check.
Replace the battery:
1. Rotate the battery cover clockwise. Once it reaches the top of the rear cover, continue rotating it clockwise to open and remove the cover (a one-yuan coin is sufficient to open the battery cover).
2. Remove the battery cover from the back cover and take out the two depleted batteries.
3 Insert two new batteries into the battery compartment; (When installing the batteries, ensure that both your hands and the product are dry.)
4 Insert the batteries into the battery compartment and close the battery compartment cover. (Before closing the cover, please ensure that the battery terminals are correctly oriented—positive ( + ) negative ( - ) Ensure the battery is inserted correctly to prevent unnecessary damage to the product. Align the arrow on the battery cover with the corresponding mark on the back cover, then insert the battery cover into the battery compartment. Once the battery cover is flush with the back cover, rotate it counterclockwise until the arrow on the battery cover aligns with the lower mark; at this point, the battery cover is securely installed.
Faults and Solutions:
If the display data becomes abnormal due to a sudden incident such as an external impact, first turn off the power and remove the battery from the device. Then press and hold the power button for one minute, after which reinsert the battery and turn the power back on; this should resolve the issue. If the problem persists, please contact the manufacturer.
Usage tips:
1. When the battery is low, the battery icon
The display will flash; please replace the battery as soon as possible.
2. As this product is designed for two-axis measurement only, when the angle between the third axis (i.e., the front and back of the slope meter) and the horizontal plane is less than 45°, the LCD will display the error message “Err”.
