The SRC-Ⅰ/30 quasi-continuous variable-distance altimeter (hereinafter referred to as the SRC-Ⅰ/30 altimeter) is a new patented product jointly developed by our factory and Shandong Agricultural University (Patent No.: ZL201120044992x). Thanks to its innovative quasi-continuous variable-distance dial design, its field performance has been significantly enhanced. Compared with the conventional Brunelleschi altimeter (model CGQ-1), this product not only provides basic functions for angle and height measurement but also allows flexible selection of measurement points in the field. This technological advancement effectively addresses the challenge of selecting appropriate measurement points in forested areas due to line-of-sight obstructions, making it particularly suitable for use in China’s densely populated mountainous forests. Consequently, it is an urgently needed, practical altimetry tool for current production.

This instrument is a field-measuring device used to determine the elevation of various targets; it can also measure elevation differences, cumulative elevations, and the slope angles of terrain features and man-made structures. Its principal advantages are that it provides direct readings of measured elevation values, eliminating the need for conversion or lookup tables. Additional benefits include its compact size, light weight, portability, simple operation, speed and convenience, and high measurement accuracy. When only height-related data are required, there is no need to set up large, complex instruments such as theodolites. This instrument has a wide range of applications, meeting measurement requirements in diverse settings, and is extensively used in surveying and construction across numerous fields, including forestry, geology and mining, power, telecommunications, road and bridge engineering, construction, water conservancy, and installation projects.

The SSY-1 handheld level (hereafter referred to as the “hand level”) is a simple surveying instrument that can roughly measure the elevation difference and inclination angle (or slope) between two points on the ground. The instrument is lightweight and compact, making it extremely convenient for field measurements and portability. It is suitable for highway and topographic surveys as well as cross-section measurements. In small-scale agricultural water conservancy projects, it can be used for site reconnaissance, preliminary surveys, and the measurement of terraced fields, land leveling, and small irrigation channels.

This product is a surveying instrument designed for use in mining and tunnel excavation, primarily to measure the slope angles of mine roadways and retreat mining faces as well as the orientation of anchor bolt inclinations. It is suitable for geological exploration and the extraction operations in coal mines and non-ferrous metal mines. Key features include low cost, safe and convenient operation, and high measurement accuracy.
